Anastasia Sif Karkazis

Artist, filmmaker, and composer based in London, between her origins in Copenhagen and Chicago; Anastasia's practice investigates technology as mirrors of human desire, tracing the affective, parasocial, and quasi-religious bonds humans form with machines. Through her installations, films and music performances under the pseudonym Shelly Expose, she reconfigures familiar tools and iconography to reframe perceptions of intimacy, ritual, nature and agency within the digital.
